British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (“BVI FSC”) has announced the increase of its registry fees. The new fees will come into effect on 1 January 2023.
The increased fees will apply to certain services including the following areas:
- Company Incorporations and Renewals
- Penalties for the late payment of annual fees
- Initial Register of Directors filing fee
The annual government license fee for companies will increase by US$100 to US$550 (for companies authorized to issue no more than 50,000 shares) and US$150 to US$1,350 (for companies authorized to issue more than 50,000 shares) respectively.
The BVI FSC has also increased other filing fees and the fee for the issuance of certificates. (Click here for the “BVI Business Companies Act (Amendment of Schedule 1) (No.2) Order, 2022”)
